Commercial - Our expansive portfolio of works carried out in this sector is proud and distinguished.  We carry out a number of projects on offices and businesses throughout each year.  We have a rolling maintenance programme with three properties in Manchester City Centre.  Further to this we have carried out major refurbishments on a number of  premises and converted to complete new spaces.  As a company we can supply any trade that is required, whether this be a bricklayer or someone to install a complete new heating system.  We ensure that every employee or contractor we use can promote and apply the high quality and delivery of projects we expect and maintain and improve the respect our company has gained.

Residential - Small works in the residential sector is becoming an increasingly competitive market, however we do not avoid it.  Our role in this sector is generally focused to clients who want to develop their existing property in terms of extension and/or adaptations.  We have carried a number of large extensions on distinguished properties and as with all our work, take pride in the finished product and treat each property as if it were our own.

Education - Working in a educational environment is an place where up most trust is placed on the main contractor by the client, and we are proud to say that as a company we have gained this trust.  We have completed a large number of projects within the academic sector and developed excellent working relationships with school heads and the local council officers responsible for educational works.  As a business we understand and practice both the ethical and functionality processes that are required to work within the educational environment and our company has gained a highly respected name for working in this sector.

Leisure - Whether it be works to a church or building the new changing facilities for a local cricket team, G Jones Builders Ltd has worked on many challenging and rewarding projects.  As a company we have built new changing facilities for two local sporting teams who used funding from Sport England totalling over £500,000, and we have also extended and fitted out the club-house to one of these clubs as a separate project.  On the other side of the spectrum, our company has worked on refurbishment projects on churches, several of which for the same client, which emphasises that the projects we complete lead to repeat business due to the high quality and overall impression our business gives.

Retail - Over the last several year we have completed several high value projects in the retail sector.  As a company we understand that clients in the retail area need projects completing as soon as possible so they can begin trading.  Our company is able to manage both this fast working pace with quality workmanship completed in a safe environment to ensure that projects are delivered to the high standard and quality G Jones Builders demands.

Other Services We Offer

Design and Build - Our company has the facilities to design small scale projects ranging from an extension to an exiting building to a complete office unit, using computer aided design (CAD).  Fully specified drawings are produced that can be submitted for planning and building regulations approval and in turn the design managed and adapted throughout the build process.  Add to this that are company is NICEIC registered electrical contractor and we have CORGI approved gas installers as part of our contractor supply chain, we can offer the complete design and build package.

Disabled Adaptations - Part M of the building regulations concerns disabled access for all new buildings constructed and existing buildings where a disabled person may frequent, whether this be a home, library, school, etc.  Our company carries out many projects for the local authorities, adapting buildings so they cater for such.  Works range from the installation of ramps to the construction of disabled toilet facilities using the pre-fabricated POD systems.
